The Sacramento Artists Council, Inc. in partnership with The Grid Agency and Dad’s Kitchen (Freeport Location) is hosting the 3rd Annual Beer and Chili Fundraiser on Saturday, April 19th, 2014 at Fremont Park in Sacramento, CA.

Sacramento Beer and Chili Festival is a fundraiser for The Sacramento Artists Council and raises money for art programs that assist at-risk children, children of homeless families and fund adopt a school art programs for Sacramento regional schools. Sacramento Beer and Chili Festival features a chili cook off competition (industry and individual) and unlimited beer tastings provide by local breweries. We will feature live entertainment featuring local bands Twilight Drifters, Hans Eberbach and URDOM. Sacramento Beer & Chili Festival will also have bike valet and a Kidz Zone. The Kidz Zone will feature face painting, crafting and a full playground. Delicious juice tastes from Metro Juice Company will be provided for Designated Drivers and in the Kidz Zone.

Confirmed Brewers Include- Drake’s Brewing, Speakeasy Ales & Lagers, 21st Amendment, Lost Coast,  North Coast, Grand Teton, Two Rivers Ciders, Crazy Mountain Brewing Company, Ninkasi Brewing, Tap It Brewing, River City Brewing Company, Bike Dog Brewing, Tipsy Cow Creamery (Beer Ice Cream!), Rubicon, Lagunitas, Hoppy Brewing Company, Sutter Buttes Brewery, Firestone Walker Brewing Co., Sierra Nevada, New Helvetia Brewing Co., Eel River, Six Rivers, Mad Rivers,  New Glory Craft Brewery,   Common Cider Brewery and Heretic Brewing Company.

Confirmed Industry Participants Include- River City Brewing, 58 Degrees, Fat City, Starlite Lounge, Broderick Roadhouse, Bacon & Butter, Hook & Ladder Manufacturing Company, Golden Bear, Blackbird, Tank House, Sysco, Morgan’s Bar & Grill and Sutter Buttes Brewery.

We also have a dozen individual competitors!


Fremont Park (1515 Q Street Sacramento, CA)

If driving, there is street parking and a lot at 1515 R Street ($1.00 every 20 minutes, up to maximum of $18.00 per ticket). The entrance to this parking garage can be found on R Street between 15th and 16th Street. The pay station is at the exit terminal and accepts cash and credit card payments.
